Robert & Narelle visit Bulahdelah Robert and
Narelle over the years had been very active participants in many facets of
Bulahdelah life, and Robert had been invited to be the guest speaker at the
Recharge@6 evening meeting at St John’s.
The family,
Robert and Narelle with their three children had moved to live in Newcastle
some years earlier to save the travelling time for Robert who lectured on
psychology at the University of Newcastle until quite recently. Robert spoke to
the meeting about John Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress using PowerPoint as a
visual aid to get his powerful message across. The story depicts life’s
journey for all of mankind highlighting the rugged pitfalls along the way.
Bunyan’s Pilgrim survived the journey by following instructions and avoiding
false directions. After the meeting
many of the group moved over to the hall to share a supper of finger food. Robert’s next
visit will hopefully be to speak to the Men’s Breakfast in August 2004 |
