Katie, a Navy graduate

Katie graduated from HMAS Cerberus (Victorian Naval Training Base) in December 2004. Congratulations Katie!

Katie will return to the Base in 2005 to complete a 'plate lickers' course otherwise known as a Stewards Course which will set her on a seaward bound course as a Steward. The course will take 8 or so weeks after which there are many other options and courses available to her.

Katie was educated at the Bulahdelah Central School up to year 12. When she graduated from school she had little idea of where her future would lie. And it was during a stint working as waitress , check-out chick and kitchen hand at the Shell Garage that her big sister suggested she should consider the Navy.  Katie wasted no time getting onto the internet and before long she had  applied for training as outlined above.
