Markwell Heights luncheon with friends

Emma and Charlotte in the spa, with a background of Alum Mountain

Helen & Peter live at Markwell Heights, overlooking (with a northern aspect) the green pastures currently providing good winter feed for the neighbour's dairy cows.

Helen did run two horses on their 12 acres, but having recently sold one, so that the current 'dse' (dry sheep equivalent) equates to one horse.

Helen, being a warm and friendly soul invited William (Bill) John Dunn who happened to be visiting Bulahdelah for the weekend, to Sunday lunch. The group seen here were at church, and Helen being warm and friendly extended a welcome to anyone there to 'come along'.  The group were entertained to a lunch of (home-made) pumpkin soup, crusty rolls, pizza and apricot pie and ice-cream. Not a bad lunch for the group who descended on her at very short notice.
