Did you miss the "Soup Day" at Annette's on August 15th?? What a lovely day for those who were able to go. Beautiful weather, beautiful garden, congratulations Annette! You are a tireless worker & gain so much pleasure from being willing to share it with us.
A big "Thank You" to everyone who made the soups, such a variety & so tasty.
Friday 26th August saw a bus load of Garden Lovers head off to Sydney Showground for the Gardening Australia Festival!! A very interesting and enjoyable day was had by all & we were a little anxious at the Weighbridge on the way home.
September looks like being a busy month with a Guest Speaker in the RSL Hall on Monday 19th after we've all had Sunday 18th at Ferny Creek manning the Gates and Stalls for Maria Rhodes-White's Open Garden Day.
Looking forward to seeing you at this beautiful garden.

For all those Garden Club members who visited the Heritage Gardens at East Maitland, I've been told that you all had a very enjoyable day!
No doubt you were able to purchase some plants to help make you gardens look lovely in the Springtime.
Our President phoned me to let me know that we are off to the "Gardening Australia Festival" on Friday 26th August 2005 at Homebush Bay. We will be leaving Wade Park at 7am by coach, returning approx. 5.30pm. Cost will be $38 (includes entry). If you would like to go on this day trip please ring Annette on 49974698 after 5pm.
David Pondman from Wallsend Nursery will be the guest speaker at our July 18th meeting in the RSL Hall.
