Alison Dorse married

Former student from Bulahdelah Central School (before she moved to Forster High for her last years at school) Alison Dorse married Michael Stadler from Newcastle on 25th June 2005 at Islington Baptist Church.

 Alison is the third child of Elizabeth and David Dorse formally of Booral now living at Forster. Michael is the second son of Gary and Rita Stadler of Coutts Crossing near Grafton.

Alison is currently studying Social Work at Newcastle University while Michael works at the BHP Research Centre in Newcastle.

The couple met on the way to a football match in Sydney. Alison was the owner driver and Mick, one of the passengers.

Alison has done two short term missionary trips to the Philippines/Thailand/Cambodia in 2003 and then to Uganda in 2004, she has also been on a Youth-for-Christ safari to north western Australia in 2004. Mick has also been overseas doing missionary work and will go to PNG later this year.
